How CORNERSTONE is Accelerating the Translation of Technology into the Marketplace for Startup Companies

This session will outline the activities of the CORNERSTONE Photonics Innovation Centre, led by the University of Southampton’s Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), in advancing silicon photonics technology. Recently established as an Innovation Knowledge Centre (IKC) and supported by UK government funding, CORNERSTONE is expanding its silicon photonics foundry services to include initiatives focused on supporting start-ups in the photonics sector.

The session will feature experts from academia and industry who will present an overview of the opportunities and challenges in the silicon photonics sector. It will also include a panel discussion to explore key topics in greater depth and engage attendees through a Q&A session.
