We provide funding to get silicon photonics out of the lab and into technologies for a wide range of end-use applications.

Whether you have an innovative project to advance the adoption or commercial exploitation of silicon photonics or need financial support to participate in one of our events, our funding is there to help you make great ideas happen.

Types of funding

 

Our funding is supported by EPSRC so you will typically need to be employed at a UK research organisation to apply. Innovation Fund

For projects that aim to solve real-world, industry problems. This may include disruptive and novel technologies, and those with a large market opportunity. Find out more.

Participation Fund

Support towards the additional costs (e.g. travel and accommodation, caring, accessibility) of participating in a C-PIC run event, where they cannot be covered by your employer. Find out more.
