PIC Bootcamp

The PIC Bootcamp is an immersive training initiative providing participants with hands-on experience in the design, fabrication, packaging and testing of PICs.
This four module programme spread over several months is tailored to equip individuals with the technical know-how and practical skills required to excel in the exciting field of Silicon Photonics.

Using Cadence Software – Introduction to High Frequency Analogue IC design flows for Photonics Applications

This in-person training course introduces the design flows and tools required to successfully analyse and implement high frequency Analogue IC designs for photonics applications, using Cadence software.

In-person training – Introduction to PIC Design with Synopsys Photonic Solutions

This in-person course provides a practical introduction to the design of photonic devices and photonic integrated circuits (PICs) using Synopsys Photonic Solutions. Across four days, participants will gain both theoretical grounding and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, including RSoft Device Tools and OptoCompiler.
